ECI55 is a cationic bitumen emulsion containing 55% bitumen, formulated specifically for use as a prime coat in road construction. Applied to untreated or granular base layers, it penetrates the surface to bind loose particles, reduce dust, and prepare the substrate for subsequent bituminous surfacing. ECI55 is cold-applied and promotes strong interlayer bonding.
